Can you describe the moment you wanted to capture?
Nothing sexualised / beautiful, I wanted to make it bold but familiar, nothing to be afraid of.
Can you describe the moment you captured the photo?
It wasn't a photo but more of a collection of life drawings / sketches I have done over the past few months in Paris.
Were you listening to music when you created this piece?
Listening to my two fave Tom Misch songs nightgowns and falafel and randomly remembering having the urge to listen to Pata Pata by Miriam Makeba.
Where were you when you realised you wanted to make this piece of art?
In the musée d’Orsay looking at Gustave Courbet’s original l’Origine du Monde.
What does blue remind you of?
Duncan James & Lee Ryan.
What have you learnt since creating this piece?
That I'm not intimidated by nudity.
Where do you dream of living?
To stay living in London.
