Where were you when you realised you wanted to make this piece of art?
A lot of these pieces came about as I was looking for different perspectives of subjects I thought I had already capture. Exploring the subjects more and challenging perspectives that I initially had allowed me to get more intriguing shots – many apparently sharing their royal blue.
Can you describe the moment you wanted to capture?
Having rewatched parts of 2001: A Space Odyssey late into the early hours of that morning, visiting the Fernsehturm in the evening made me see it in a very sci-fi sort of way. In a city like Berlin, I think it’s easy for the eclectic buildings to warp into something they’re not, and it seems that for this shot Discovery One wasn’t just floating around my head but through the viewfinder.
Were you listening to music when you created this piece?
Johnny Rain, Chance, and dvsn all featured pretty heavily for some of these
What have you learnt since creating this piece?
Look up more
(& don’t trust your flatmates to not take your last piece of toast)
Where do you dream of living?
The Budapest hot baths
What does blue remind you of?
Dark beach umbrellas
